Formal charges have been brought against two men following a luggage theft where a substance thought to be irritant spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A toddler was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were subsequently released.

This event – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
