The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer preparing for major competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

Kai Trump will have multiple prominent cheerleaders as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns several international courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially advised me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of top competitors in the sport at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching the next generation.

Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
