This Mediterranean culinary holiday, located at a villa by the river in the inland Portuguese region, is draws inspiration from the vegetarian dishes of renowned chefs. Participants will master the art of meze spreads, take part in a falafel-making workshop, refine mid-morning meals such as shakshuka, and make hearty mains like a rich mushroom stew and moussaka. The schedule includes visits to the village market and a nearby winery to sample local vintages, plus leisure time for walks by the Funcho River, to relax on the deck or take a dip in the infinity pool. This energetic camp is an energizing, inclusive weekend adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The daily schedule each day is a party-style warm-up session, followed by several hour-and-a-half classes covering different urban dance forms, then an 60-minute jam to show off new moves. Participants are split into groups based on skill level, so it is perfect for those who are brand new to street dance, all the way to advanced dancers or teachers. The camp does not provide accommodation but there are several places to stay nearby, and it is under an hour by rail into central London.

Sea Shanty Weekend in St Ives
St Ives is the ideal location for a maritime music retreat. Guests will learn traditional shanties from a experienced musician, and have a go at writing their own. There will be vocal warmups, breathing exercises, stagecraft advice and a closing performance. The holiday is based at a rural hotel overlooking the bay. All meals are included, such as a Cornish cream tea on the first day, breakfast options, packed lunches and three-course dinners. Traditional rum, unfortunately, is not included. Writer and lecturer an experienced instructor leads the daily workshops on this writing retreat. He covers everything from plot, characters, locations and tension, to submitting work to publishers. The holiday is held at a traditional complex in Vamos at the foot of the Lefka Ori – ten one- and two-bedroom cottages are set around a garden and pool (non-writing partners are encouraged to come along).
