Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the team in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

He was omitted from a European match following voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has refused to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the player.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” Jones added.
The midfielder also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Their results have remained strong in the matches since the initial controversy. He feels the outburst were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, getting results and starting to win games.”
